Every expert has a story
I let the TV industry know about back stories last week. Today, it's the media's turn. I've just issued a press release to feature/consumer/lifestyle journalists highlighting the fact that most experts have interesting back stories which could be used as case studies. Read press release here.

Back Stories: You Couldn't Make it Up!
Every expert has a back story, a turning point or something that's a bit quirky about their life. And as back stories can spark off programme and feature ideas, I'm going to start highlighting them to the industry. Read yesterday's 'You Couldn't Make It Up' stories here: http://tinyurl.com/ckwrkk

Best Job in the World
Ben Southall has won the 'best job in the world' as an island caretaker in Australia - and congratulations to him. To be honest though, I think I have the best job in the world. I speak to amazingly inspiring people every day, I feel very happy when an expert emails me to say they've had a call from a TV company or member of the media (which happens quite a lot) and I work from home. Yes, life is very good. Ok, so I don't live in an oceanfront villa with a private pool, but Chiswick isn't too bad.

Great start to the week
Delighted to welcome new experts Matthew Jackson (estate agent/riverside properties), Nicolas Aujula (Astrologer) and Neil Mullarkey (improv genius and comedy lifecaoch). And good to see that more researchers and producers from Objective Productions, Epiphany Productions and Dragonfly TV have registered to search the site.
